8月21日,在线发表于《Respirology》杂志上的一项研究显示,阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停(OSA)的严重程度与胆固醇和甘油三酯水平独立相关。瑞典萨赫尔格雷斯卡学院的Ludger Grote博士及其同事对来自欧洲睡眠呼吸暂停数据库的8592例患者进行了横断面分析,入选标准是未被临床医生诊断为高脂血症或未使用降脂药的患者。患者平均年龄为50岁,69%为男性,平均BMI为30.8kg/m2,呼吸暂停指数(AHI)为25.7次/小时。研究者发现:(1)总胆固醇(TC)水平与血氧饱和度(ODI)之间的剂量-反应关系,即平均TC为180.33mg/dl,184.59mg/dl,185.44mg/dl,185.73mg/dl时,分别与ODI由高到低相应的四分位数对应;(2)AHI能够比ODI更好地预测空腹甘油三酯和低密度脂蛋白(LDL)浓度;(3)AHI最高四分位组(平均46.50 mg/dl)与最低四分位组(平均48.80 mg/dl)相比,高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)水平显著降低;(4)肥胖与更低水平的TC和更高水平的HDL-C相关,研究者指出,这符合所谓的“肥胖悖论”—肥胖对某些人群中可能
