SCIENCE:人类肿瘤细胞内的细菌竟有细胞特异性!

研究人员对肿瘤微生物组进行了全面的分析,研究了1526个肿瘤及其邻近的正常组织,涉及乳腺癌、肺癌、卵巢癌、胰腺癌、黑色素瘤、骨肿瘤和脑肿瘤等7种肿瘤类型。

100多年前,研究人员在人类肿瘤中首次发现了细菌,但由于肿瘤微生物组的生物量较少,因此至今为止,对肿瘤微生物组的表征仍具有挑战性。

最近,研究人员对肿瘤微生物组进行了全面的分析,研究了1526个肿瘤及其邻近的正常组织,涉及乳腺癌、肺癌、卵巢癌、胰腺癌、黑色素瘤、骨肿瘤和脑肿瘤等7种肿瘤类型。

研究人员发现,每一种肿瘤类型都有不同的微生物群组成,乳腺癌的微生物群特别丰富多样。

肿瘤内的细菌大多是细胞内的,在癌细胞和免疫细胞中都存在。

此外,研究人员还注意到肿瘤内细菌或其预测功能与肿瘤类型和亚型、患者的吸烟状况和免疫治疗的反应之间存在相关性。
